Refund & cancellation

Scope

This policy covers paid application analytics engagements sold by cloud-nodes: signal audits, path instrumentation, Metric Studio sessions, and release review cycles. It does not cover software licences, physical products, or third-party tools we do not sell.

Eligibility

Refunds apply only to fees paid directly to cloud-nodes under a written scope. Informational prices on this website are not invoices. Deposits and milestone fees are described in each scope.

Timeframe

Refund requests must be sent to hello@cloud-nodes.digital within 14 days of the payment date, or within 7 days of a scheduled studio/workshop start—whichever is earlier—unless the scope states a different window.

Full refund

A full refund is available if we cancel an engagement before work starts, or if you cancel in writing before any discovery session and before we begin inventory or dictionary work, provided no non-refundable third-party costs were pre-approved by you.

Partial refund

If work has started—discovery held, inventory underway, or draft materials delivered—we may refund the unused portion of prepaid fees after deducting time already spent at the rates in the scope. Completed milestones are non-refundable.

Non-refundable items

• Completed readout calls, delivered dictionaries, and accepted validation notes
• Studio or workshop days already facilitated
• Release review weeks already delivered
• Pre-approved purchased research materials or venue costs tied to your engagement

Cancellation & rescheduling

You may reschedule a discovery or studio day once without fee if you give at least 5 business days’ notice. Shorter notice may forfeit that day’s fee. We will propose a new date within 15 business days when capacity allows.

No-shows

If your team misses a scheduled live session without 24 hours’ notice, that session counts as delivered and is non-refundable.

Work already started

Once inventory, drafting, or validation has begun, cancellation converts remaining prepaid fees into a partial refund as described above. Deliverables produced to date remain available to you under the scope licence.

Refund process & method

Email hello@cloud-nodes.digital with your invoice reference and reason. We confirm eligibility within 5 business days. Approved refunds return to the original payment method within 10–15 business days after approval.

Exceptions

If a written scope includes custom refund terms, that scope controls. Statutory rights under Korean consumer law that cannot be waived remain available where they apply.
